UCAT Program

For prospective 2026 and 2027 university entrants

Our mission is simple - we want to get high-achieving, ambitious students into medical schools.

The first hurdle in the journey to medical school for many is the UCAT. The University of Adelaide weighs the UCAT as 20% of the admissions process into its medical and dental programs.

A good UCAT performance allows candidates to progress to the interview stage, which can make or break their application.

We believe that effective UCAT tutoring is not merely teaching "techniques" and so-called hidden "strategies", but an ongoing cycle of accountability to repeated practice, monitoring performance, and receiving advice on targeted areas for improvement.

Our programs effectively adopt a hybrid model of teaching, combining the benefits of group classes and peer dynamics with the individualised attention of one-on-one sessions. Our students belong to a group that is pushed to achieve their best, but are able to access direct support from our tutoring team at any time.

We are pleased to offer two UCAT programs - one for prospective 2026 university applicants, and another for prospective 2027 university applicants

UCAT Program for 2027 entrants

August - December 2025

Our program for 2027 entrants runs for 14 weeks and provides a comprehensive introduction to the UCAT.

3 weeks are spent covering each of the 3 major subsections - Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning - and 1 week is spent covering the Situational Judgement Test (SJT). This provides students with an understanding of the structure of each subsection, as well as an opportunity to begin developing and refining technique for them.

The final 4 weeks are spent working through full UCAT mock exams. Students get a realistic opportunity to assess their progress, and get to see models of strong performance in walkthroughs of each exam.

During the course, students are required to meet with their tutor a minimum of 4 times via Zoom to discuss their progress, identify areas for improvement and create an action plan to address them.

The course runs on Sunday mornings from 9AM-12:30PM on the following dates:

August 10, 17, 24, 31;

September 7, 14, 21, 28;

October 5, 12;

BREAK FOR SACE EXAMS;

November 16, 23, 30;

December 7

The course is taught in-person in classrooms in the Adelaide CBD (further details provided upon enrolment).

Payment for the course is $1260 for the full 14-week program (approximately $90 per session).

Students are welcome and encouraged to attend the first session as a trial session with no financial obligation.

We also offer a discount of 10% for students who attend the program with a friend, awardable to both the student and their friend.

UCAT Program for 2026 entrants

January - July 2025

THE 2026 ENTRANTS PROGRAM IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICANTS

Our program for 2026 entrants is a 20-week UCAT program that will push you to your fullest UCAT potential. Our program is taught in two 10-week blocks.

The first 10 weeks are spent learning the four subsections of the UCAT in very close depth. You will learn their structure and common question types, strategies to optimise performance, and be given opportunity to practice them rigorously.

The following 10 weeks combine these learnings through completion of targeted mock practice, which identifies students' individual strengths and weaknesses and provides strategies for improvement.

We adopt a hybrid teaching model which combines the collaboration of small-group learning with the relevance and specificity of one-on-one tutoring. All students of the program are required to attend mandatory one-on-one sessions with our tutors to discuss their individual areas of improvement and refine strategy.
